
About Us
History
Save the Nile began as a grassroots response to rising plastic pollution and declining fisheries. We grew from small cleanups to a program set that includes education, recycling innovation, and livelihood support. Partnerships with local and international organizations have allowed us to scale activities and test new technology in the field.
To restore and protect the Nile River by leading a community-driven enviromental and biodiversity conservation; reducing plastic pollution, empowering local communities through collaborative education and action; advocating for sustainable water, land management; uphodling the rule of law and justice; mitigating and managing community conflicts through promotion of peace, unity and reconcilation; improving and supporting community livehoods and resilence forstering human dignity for all; and ensuring a thriving Nile for present and future generations.
